What data we collect

This website uses no cookies and no analytics, and loads no third-party resources. If you write to us, we use your email address only to reply; beta requests are covered in the next section.

Beta requests

If you request the beta with the form, we collect what you enter in it (name, email address, language, type of use, company, role, databases, operating system, how you heard about us and what you expect from Schevo) and the date, and we keep the messages we exchange. The form is sent directly to our email and office software provider, which acts as a data processor: it stores the request in a spreadsheet and prepares the reply. We use this data only to decide on sending you the beta, to send it to you and to ask for your feedback on it. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by sending the form and can withdraw at any time. We keep the data until the beta ends or until you unsubscribe, by replying “REMOVE” to any of our emails or by writing to contact@schevo-db.com. The form sets no cookies.

The application

Schevo works offline and does not send your models, scripts or usage data anywhere. At most once a day it checks for a new version by downloading a public file from this website, without sending any data about you or your models; you can turn this off in the Help menu. On your computer it only stores the license key, your preferences, application logs and recovery copies, which you can delete at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data by writing to contact@schevo-db.com. You can also file a complaint with your data protection authority.
